Description

Papain is a proteolytic enzyme obtained from papaya fruit. Proteolytic enzymes help break complex proteins down into small protein fragments, such as peptides and amino acids. Papain is active in any environment: acidic, alkaline or neutral. It is therefore used for diseases associated with gastrointestinal acidity disorders and when eating protein-rich food. Papain’s most important advantage is its ability to destroy the toxins of many infectious disease pathogens, including tetanus.

Papaya (Carica papaya) extract, gelatin (capsule).

Uses
  • Papain is effective in chronic gastrointestinal dysfunction and relieves discomfort associated with constipation and bloating. Its use is recommended when eating protein-rich foods.
  • For digestive enzyme deficiency;
  • For pancreatic inflammation, pancreatitis, when the pancreas has insufficient excretory function;
