Bladderwrack is traditionally used alongside dietary changes in weight-management programmes. EMA recognises this as traditional use; clinical evidence of efficacy remains insufficient.
Ingredients
Fucus vesiculosus extract; gelatin in the capsule form.
Use and precautions
Do not use with hyperthyroidism. Seek medical advice first for other thyroid disorders.
Do not combine with iodine supplements or thyroid medicines. Excess iodine can be harmful. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in children.
Storage
Keep tightly closed in a dry place, protected from sunlight and out of reach of children.
