Acai berries (Acai berry) are small, shiny black fruits that ripen twice a year on tall palm trees. For Brazilians, acai berries are an integral part of the daily diet: they add the berry powder to rice, bread and milk. The berries themselves are used to make cocktails, ice cream and other desserts.
